Metal signs are a great way to decorate your home or office. The Colman’s Mustard Company was founded in Norwich in 1814 and ran its first advertisement in the Norwich Chronicle.
The company were pioneers of social welfare and opened a school for their employee’s children in 1857. Mustard is made from seeds that are grown locally in Norfolk.
In 1866 the company was awarded the Royal Warrant as manufacturers to Queen Victoria. This was reflected in Colman’s metal sign advertising designs of the era.

How is mustard made?
